Marta has a fantastic talent – she sings beautifully. Unfortunately, none of her loved ones can appreciate it. Despite the resistance from adults, she decides to make use of her treasure – her voice. But how and where can she do that? Is there a place in the world where one can delight others with their voice?
This is not only a story about an ambitious and determined girl who refuses to let her sense of self-worth be diminished, but also a tale about the human voice and opera. It aims to familiarize young audiences with the opera convention. It shows the various ways of using the human voice and demonstrates that modern opera is open various vocal techniques. The creators play with musical styles – ranging from baroque to rap and beatbox.
