SUMMARY:Concert of the Youth Mozart Orchestra
DESCRIPTION:BUY TICKET\n\n  \n6th Mozart Junior Festival\n  \nWitold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio\n  \nConcert of the Youth Mozart Orchestra\n  \n  \n  \nThe Youth Mozart Orchestra\, abbreviated as MOM\, is a project initiated by the Warsaw Chamber Opera with the future of classical music in mind. Dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians\, this special initiative was created for exceptionally talented young people. \nFrom dozens of applications submitted from all over Poland\, a jury led by the Director of the Warsaw Chamber Opera\, Dr. hab. Alicja Węgorzewska\, selected “The Magnificent Twelve.” Under the attentive and caring baton of Adam Banaszak\, the musical director of the MACV Orchestra\, and with guidance from the orchestra’s concertmasters\, these young musicians will spend several days in June perfecting their craft. \nThe culmination of their hard work will be a special concert at the Witold Lutosławski Concert Studio of Polish Radio\, conducted by Ana Liz Ojeda Hernández\, concertmaster of MACV. Whether any of these young artists will continue their journey with the Warsaw Chamber Opera remains to be seen — what truly matters is that they seize this rare opportunity to work alongside the very best. \n  \n  \nAna Liz Ojeda Hernández \nBorn in Valdivia\, Chile\, Ana Liz began learning the violin at the age of seven with her father. She studied at Columbus College (USA) under Patricio Cobos\, and from 1995\, continued her education in Europe at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold (Germany) with Marco Rizzi\, earning diplomas in performance\, pedagogy\, and chamber music. \nShe participated in masterclasses with artists such as András Schiff and Philippe Herreweghe. Since 2003\, she has specialized in baroque violin\, studying with Ryo Terakado in The Hague and Stefano Montanari in Milan. \nIn 2007\, she joined the renowned ensemble Accademia Bizantina under Ottavio Dantone as second violin soloist\, and in 2011 co-founded the group Il Tetraone\, with whom she recorded three albums. Her performance venues include Carnegie Hall\, Royal Concertgebouw\, Berliner Philharmonie\, and Teatro alla Scala. \nAna Liz collaborates with early music ensembles such as Zefiro\, La Risonanza\, and the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra. In 2024\, she led Capella Cracoviensis\, and from 2025\, she becomes the concertmaster of Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense in Warsaw. \nShe conducts masterclasses at institutions including the University of Santiago\, and in 2024 led the Youth Baroque Orchestra in Innsbruck. Her discography includes works by Bach\, Vivaldi\, Händel\, and Mozart. She performs on a Marco Minnozzi violin (2020). \n
