“The Abduction from the Seraglio, or Love Always Wins” – is a captivating family opera adventure inspired by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s famous work The Abduction from the Seraglio.
This is a performance full of courage, friendship, and true love — love that always finds a way to triumph, even in the most difficult moments.
What’s the story about?
Our tale begins at sea, where Konstanze, a brave and beautiful young woman, is sailing with her friends — Blonde and Pedrillo — to reunite with her fiancé, Belmonte.
But beware — danger suddenly strikes: pirates! A wicked one-eyed pirate kidnaps Konstanze and her companions, taking them to a slave market.
There, Konstanze catches the eye of Pasha Selim, the ruler of a grand palace and harem, who wants her to become his tenth wife. But Konstanze has very different plans — her heart belongs only to Belmonte!
Belmonte, too, is not one to give up easily. Without hesitation, he boards a ship to search for his beloved. After a long journey, he arrives at Pasha Selim’s palace — but he cannot get inside.
That’s when his clever friend Pedrillo steps in. Disguised as an architect, he devises a daring escape plan. Will it work?
Along the way, there are many funny and thrilling moments — from Blonde’s cheeky tricks (she’s afraid of no one!) to a clever scheme to put the guard Osmin to sleep.
But will Konstanze and Belmonte’s love overcome all the obstacles? You’ll have to watch — and listen — to find out.
This performance is filled with:
– Beautiful music and arias – as the characters sing about their feelings and dreams,
– Funny moments – thanks to Blonde and Pedrillo’s hilarious antics,
– Exciting adventures – like escaping by ladder under the stars and facing off with pirates!
And in the end, an important message — you’ll discover that forgiveness is stronger than revenge, and that love always finds its way to a happy ending.
Join Konstanze, Belmonte, Blonde, and Pedrillo on this unforgettable journey.
Will it all end happily?
